The Missner Group Begins Construction on Reliance Children’s Health in Plainfield Illinois.

Des Plaines, October 12, 2023/ The Missner Group (TMG), a Chicago-based, General Contractor announces the start of construction on the brand new 24-hour care facility for Reliance Children's Health.  

The Missner Group was selected as the general contractor of the new long-term care facility serving children with severe health conditions. Working alongside Reliance Health, The Missner Group will oversee the ground-up construction of the facility ensuring it meets all public health guidelines and ADA requirements.

The exterior of the building will feature a sleek brick shell with a drive-through area for emergency vehicles. There will also be an outdoor play area and parents' garden for the families utilizing the facility. The interior of the brand-new facility will include seven long-term care rooms, offices for administrative staff, a conference room, nurses' stations, a classroom, and a laundry facility. 

The project is expected to come to an end in Spring of 2024 

The Missner Group’s Project Team will include Aldo Bottalla-SVP of Business Development, Angelo Christopher-VP of Construction, Thomas Stephens-Project Manager, Lee Andrews-Project Coordinator, and Mike Sneddon-Senior Project Superintendent.
